The end is approaching...

Less than two weeks until summer! Exciting, yes. Sad, yes. I won't necessarily miss school (actually, I won't at all) but I always miss my friends during the summer. I will be back to visit, I am sure. Amy will be here for most of the summer along with a bunch of my friends so it will be fun to come visit.
Before summer comes finals...the dreaded finals. Which means that I should be studying, so I will sign off for now!
Good luck with finals!

What have we been up to in room 19?!?!

Hello to everyone!

Where to start?!?
The last weekend in March was mom's weekend so both mine and Amy's moms were here and we had a good time (despite the fact that it rained and rained). My mom and I posted up at The Winery for a long while and on Saturday night some friends joined and we all had a good time. Debbie is dying to go back. Sunday it cleared up and we had a nice brunch and just mingled with everyone.
The weekdays are the same and unless something magnificent happens during the week, I don't have much to say about them.
Last weekend we ended up going to the beach on Saturday afternoon and had a blast (minus the little sunburn). I really want to go back and it is only about 40 minutes away!
So I guess that brings us to this weekend...I am at home and Amzy is holding the fort down for us. I took a long weekend and headed home on Wednesday.
Next weekend we are off to Disney!!! So excited.

Happy Easter to everyone and a Happy Passover to friends as well!

And I Begin!

First off, I hope you all LOVE the new layout...I am technologically challenged and doing this was a big step for me (despite the step by step directions).

I am also excited to inform you that I have begun training (again) for the Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta this summer. It is a huge deal in Atlanta with about 55,000 runners. It is an annual event that happens on the 4th of July every year and this is its 45th year (i think!). I did it in 2007 and am actually really excited to do it again. I am not the best of runners but I really surprised myself the first time I ran it and was able to run the whole thing (which I didn't think I would be able to do). Getting excited (even though I have 3 and 1/2 months).

Love!

Lots of News!!

Sorry we have been lacking in the updating department...things have been hectic around here. For me (Megan), the week before Spring Break was filled with tests, tests, and more tests. I was happy to have it off of my shoulders during break, though. Spring break was fun and relaxing! I went to Oklahoma to visit my whole family. For five days I feel like all I did was eat and drink. I met my baby cousin, Ellie, for the first time and she is such a cutie! After we got home on Wednesday, I spent the rest of break shopping and working to earn a little extra cash moneyyy.
Back to school we went to Monday :(. Tuesday, though, was a different story. St. Patricks day in Tallahassee is a BIG deal. It is an all day event whether school is going on or not. Not only is it big, but it is sooo much fun! By 10 a.m., I was sucessfully banded for four different bars..and all we did was bar hop for about 12 hours (we started around 8 a.m.). The nice thing was that I was home and asleep by 10:30 that night...12 hours of drinking sure makes me tired.
This weekend is Formal weekend and Amy has been working nonstop to make this event happen. I don't have a date but i'm still excited...Amy and I are going together (cute...isn't it?). I just want to go and have a good time (which I know will happen).
I can't really think of anything else that has been going on in Room 19...i'll have Amy update her life for you all in another post. This week will be fairly low key and then next weekend is Mom's Weekend (the Debbie's will be in town!). My mom is super excited to come and i'm excited, as well.
I'm off to do something productive on this BEAUTIFUL Saturday afternoon. Happy Weekending to all!
Meg

P.S.- I would like to dedicate this post to one of our avid readers, Jon Smith. Rumor has it...this is one of his "favorite" pages. BOOP BOOP

Last Night...

So, last night we had a social with TEP and it was a lot of fun. Not a lot of our girls were there but a good amount of guys came out and we had fun. It seemed like every time I turned around someone was handing me another fishbowl. Not good. I am sure as heck feeling the effects of it today.
Test tomorrow, Monday, and two a week from today. Fun? I think not. At least Spring Break is right behind that!
I really don't have much to say so I am off to take a nap.
Goodnight.

OkOkOkOkOkOk...We are back!

Hi Everyone!

Sorry it has been a while since our last update. I went home this past weekend for my Mom's birthday and we went to see Cirque Du Soleil in Atlanta. It was amazing. I have seen it before but the performers continue to mesmerize me. It was a fun weekend with my family!

Amy, on the other hand, stayed here this weekend for Hayride! I was excited to hear that it went really well, I am happy for her (but I don't know why she doubted herself in the first place, thinking something may go wrong!).

After Linedance last night Amy and I did the "Sweet Trade". Any and all of our junk food was given to the other person (so I gave mine to Amy) so that they could hide it. We each left the room while the other hid it and have vowed not to peek. I am excited and hope it goes well.

We have both been fighting illnesses over the past couple of days and haven't been up to a whole lot. We are feeling much better now!

I will be gone again this weekend :( (sad day) for a meeting in Atlanta. Worry not, though, I WILL be back. Hopefully we will have an update before then.

To all of our avid readers, here is the update you have been looking for!

Best Wishes to all for a wonderful week!...only a week and a half until Spring Break!!

Mission Accomplished!...and why am I still up?!?!

32 hours of Dance Marathon ended at 6:00 p.m. today. At this point we were able to sit down after being on our feet for 32 hours. It is a really enduring process but the rewards outweigh everything else. To see the kids and the smiles on their faces is probably the most rewarding. You would never know what they have had to overcome by looking at them today. They truly are miracles. FSU raised over $375,000 this year for Children's Miracle Network and Shands Children's Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. All the dancers did great! On that note, I'm out!
Love to all and hoping for happy feet in the morning :)

Live from Dance Marathon Hour ??

It is 12:30 a.m. and I would rather NOT think about the time remaining. We will discuss that tomorrow around 5:30ish. I'm really starting to feel the pain but I am trying to disregard it and continue on. I have found that it is easier to continue walking then to stand still. Amy has been an awesome dancer buddy and Astrid brought me goodies, as well. Thank you to everyone! Having visitors is one of the best parts because it kind of takes your mind off of everything. At 7:00 p.m. today I will hopefully be dead asleep and continue to stay that way until Monday afternoon at some point.
I really do love doing this, though. Its an awesome cause and I will realize that even more when I can sit! In the mean time I am going to continue to dance! Oh, and the linedance is seriously the only thing keeping me going!
Love to all (I miss you so much PUFF! I will be home tomorrow!)

Megan Noelle= the cutest thing ever

Hello Class!!!!!!

I've really missed not posting for a few days but I really haven't had much to say. Today I went to class (shocking, I know) and then Amy and I ran errands and went to the gym and to tan. We had a joyous time with it all. I got a lot accomplished today, actually...I did laundry. If anyone knows of people who have a laundry service please let me know. I hate doing laundry here, with a passion. I also got to video chat with one of my good friends from high school today who is studying abroad in Israel this semester! On top of all of that, I had dinner with my big sister! I would call myself productive!!
Also, I want to let you guys know that one of my dear friends, Kendra, was a bit in the dark on this whole "snuggie" thing. She had no idea what they were...until now. I kindly guided here to the snuggie website where she was absolutely astonished that something like it existed. Let me just tell you kids, never doubt anything that has the "as seen on TV" saying on it. They have all seem to have such wonderful customer responses. HA! Who am I even trying to fool now.
I noticed that I am starting to ramble, but what else is this blog for, eh?
Anyways, it is only a matter of days until Dance Marathon. I will be dancing again this year, for 32 hours! Please say a little prayer for me!
God speed to all!!!!!!
Much Love,
Meg

Isabella Kaye = cutest thing EVER

Welcome to Mr G's room G's room G's room....

This past weekend was very nice. I got to go home, see my family, including my brother, sister-in-law, and my niece (SO adorable), and go shopping. It was a great break from tallahussy and school. I didnt think of anything related to this place so that took a lot off of my mind. I really dont have much to say today. I (Amy) had a quiz that I completely bombed. Best part of my day was getting out of my night class an hour early! I am slowly, but shirley, beginning to not care about this semester. I need spring break to come so I can find out if I got into the Comm school (so i can relax and maybe breathe for once) and so I can see Fake Schmayes (miss you) and go to a Texas Rodeo. So much to look forward to but so much to get through first (so profound, i know). My class got cancelled for tomorrow so it is going to be quite the relaxing day. Maybe I can accomplish something worthwhile. Who really knows.

Ok...We May Be Crazy!

I know, I know...while some of you think this is funny, others may think its soooo weird. Anyways, for those of you that do not know, this is our house mascot, Sir Puff. He is a very dedicated stuffed mouse.

On to other things. I really want a snuggie. A few days ago I was laying in bed (shocking!) and was doing something on my computer and my arms were SO cold. I just wanted to snuggle up in a snuggie. I ventured out onto the snuggie website and found out that we could get TWO snuggies and TWO booklights, for the price of ONE. Maybe this is what I will get Amy for Valentine's Day. Move over Jake, I have dibs.

Also, due to my lack of posting yesterday, I wanted to make a special shout-out to my dear friend Melissa who celebrated her 21st birthday yesterday! Although she was in Tampa for Gasparilla, we WILL be having an adequate celebration this week.

Amy is back so life is good! Special shout out to all of our devoted followers of our blog, we couldn't do it without your support!
Tomorrow I (Megan) will be taking a mental health day and not attending school. So if you are wondering where I am, I will most likely be in bed. Love to all! Have a wonderful week!

This ones for you megan...

OH BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEGGEEEE

Friday Funday!

Hello to all!

After a wonderful night of sleep and a long nap on top of that today, I feel great! This weekend is going to be very low key due to the lack of people in town. Not to say that I won't have a good time, though. Tonight, Erika and I are going to Chili's for some 2-4-1 deals. We probably won't do too much after that because she needs to study and I could probably use some more sleep. We may watch a movie, though. Thats about all I have for you all today! Wishes for a wonderful weekend (even though I will be back tomorrow)!

Megan

P.S.- we still miss you AMZY!

Thursday, February 5, 2009

I feel as though if Amy has a picture on our blog...so should I. I do like her new bangs, though. Very stylish. Onto more important things, like me (toot my own horn lol). I'm exhausted. That is really all I have to say about myself right now. I have only had about 4 hours of sleep since Tuesday because I had 3 tests between yesterday and today.
On a more exciting note, I went out on a limb and finally bought a mac book (Astrid, be proud). I will miss the dell (hell) dearly and who knows...maybe it'll fall off of the back deck (I've always wanted to do that). I am really going to miss the crashing hard drives, non responsive keyboards, floppy screens, and ,lately, the "staticy" screen (like when you don't have good cable reception). Puff is doing well and we are both missing Amy. I think that is about all I have! I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday afternoon and evening!
You know you love me.

XOXO,
Kappa Girl
hehehehehehe. She may or may not kill me for this and she still has no idea I just took this picture. This is Sarah, one of our friends. She resides with us in the Kastle along with many other friends...watch out friends...you may be next.

YOYOYOYOYOYOYOYO.

Its time we all set the record straight. Who is cooler here? Megan or Amy? I'm going to go with...
I just want to let you all know that I, Megan, have a test tomorrow and 2 on Thursday. I can't wait to curl up in my bed and sleep until Friday. Amy is leaving tomorrow for the weekend (sad day). Puff and I will miss her dearly. I wish I could elaborate more but I must study. I will update you clowns at a later date. Until then, much love.

Our first day of blogging....

Today we woke up at 8. We decided to speak in a British accent for the whole day, excluding dinner...and the couple times we forgot to speak in it. Amy was super stressed about the days events, including busses for Hayride, Sigma Chi dinner, and studying for a test. She almost vomed. Megan watched Extreme Home Makeover, and cried like a child. We both studied in the kitchen for a few hours. We are now winding down, watching a new disc of Friends. Today was an accomplished day. Oh, and we both tanned.

Love,
Amy and Megan
